Counselling Procedure For JEE Advanced 2013

JEE Advanced 2013 counselling: JEE Advanced 2013 Online Registration has been schedule from 24th June 2013 on wards and it will last til 30th June 2013. the counselling procedure for JEE Advanced will be conducted from 24th June 2013 on wards. you must have started online registering but you need to be quick since the counselling will last til june 30 2013.

Candidates should note that the JEE Advanced 2013 counselling will be conducted in three rounds and candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the JEE Advanced 2013 exam will only be eligible for this counselling session which will be conducted from 24th June 2013 til 30th june 2013.

The JEE Advanced 2013 counselling

JEE advanced 2013 counselling comprises of following steps.
1. Online registration: candidates need to be quick and fill up the entries according to the form, you should again note that the availability of online form is scheduled from June 24 to 30, 2013
Shortlisted candidates for counselling procedure and admission to the 16 IITs and ISM Dhanbad are requested to register to get a User ID and provide a password for future logins.
Ok so what you all need to do? candidates need to Enter name, JEE Advanced Registration No, JEE Advanced Roll No, date of birth, Email Id, Phone No, and a password to be used in the future to log in. you will get your User ID and password.
Note it down!

2. If you get successful registration Online choice filling: (availability from June 24 to 30, 2013)

Now in this second step you need to mention your course choice in order of seat preference , but it all depends on the availability of seats.

Note down that students final choices have to be locked by 5 pm on June 30, 2013
What if the final choices are not locked by june 30 , 2013?

candidates you should note that if your final choices aren’t locked by 30th june 2013 as specified, then the choices already entered by them will be automatically locked as the final ones.

3. JEE Advance 2013 Online seat allotment:

It all depens on your ALL INDIA RANK (AIR). candidates should remember that the course allocation is on the basis of their AIR ( ALL INDIA RANK ) that you secured in the 2013 year JEE (Advanced exam). other than this you should note that the it also depend on the course preference opted by the student during counselling.
As you read above the JEE Advanced 2013 Counselling will be conducted in three rounds:
so note down that the :-

  • on July 4, 2013 Round 1 allotments list will be declared
  • on July 9, 2013 Round 2 allotments list will be declared
  • on July 13, 2013 Round 3 allotments list will be declared

you should check for the seat allotted when once a round is completed , other than this final allocation will be at the end of the third round of counselling.

4.  JEE ADVANCE 2013 Online Provisional admission:

Ok so what is next? if you have allotted seat for the first time in any of the three rounds of counselling session then what’s next? well if this happen then it is requested that a candidate should report to the respective Zonal IIT for document verification and fee payment
Students you should note down that you must be physically present for the document verification. you must print the course allotment letter from the JCOP to furnish for physical verification and reporting.
